This year we have been lucky to have received £20,000 from the National Lottery. In addition to the weekly group we run for homeschooled children, we will also be running Holiday Workshops, Family Days out, Boy and Girls Monthly Lodges, and a big Summer Campout in August!

Tuesday 8 April - Avalon Archeology
With Marc Cox and Richard Brunning
Avalon Archeology is a crafted reproduction of Somerset's heritage in the heart of the Avalon Marshes. History is brought to life with richly decorated archeological reconstructions and art. This is a fun session where children can explore the site, learn about local archeology, wood carving, natural inks and play games, dress up and hear stories of ancient times.

Playful Pottery
With Joy Horner
This two day workshop is your opportunity to play with clay and make something to be proud of. Learn the basics of hand building then make your own work of art. Pethaps a hand shaped dish, an animal, or bowl.

Weaving in the Round
With Gaiama Comberti & Kirsten Kaluzynski
Be inspired by the birds weaving their nests and learn to weave in a circle to create your own bowl or table mat from natural sheep's wool or cotton. They will show you how to make your own 'circular weaving loom“ from a simple paper plate followed by the making of your actual bowl or table mat.
